Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy and Eminem’s 8 Mile mashup is so on point – watch video

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy trailer hit the internet a couple of days ago and we have to say it is mind-blowing. The story of an aspiring rapper and his girlfriend has impressed one and all, but it is something we have already seen Hollywood delve into. Yes, a few years ago, Eminem’s 8 Mile followed a similar story line. Though the story and screenplay might be completely different, Gully Boy and 8 Mile do share a lot of similarities. So after the Gully Boy trailer dropped, a mashup of the wordings from the trailer and portions of 8 Mile went viral. In fact, the video mashup is so much on point that you will be surprised.

You will not believe that these are two different promos! Whoever has created it, has done it well. But the scenes are also so similar that it makes us feel that Gully Boy is actually inspired from 8 Mile. Check out the viral mashup right here.
