Choreographer Bosco Martis is all set to add another feather to his hat as he is making his directorial debut soon. And not just that, he will be experimenting with a completely new genre for his film. Yes, you heard it right. His film will be a dance-horror and is currently being developed.
Talking about the same, Bosco said, “As a choreographer, I wanted to explore my skills in the dancing world by without trying to attempt a film on the lines of Step Up. So I came up with the concept of a dance-based horror-comedy. It sets the platform to create something magical.”
Bosco is working on the screenplay with a team of writers and further said that not many people globally are aware of the genre. “The only thing anybody can recollect is Michael Jackson’s music video, Thriller. We are still working on the film and will have something interesting to offer as the attempt is to create a unique experience for the audience,” he informed.
India’s first dance-horror film with a dash of comedy is going to be mounted on a big scale, as confirmed by the studio. Along with this film, few dreams will also come true as Bosco will be choosing a few participants from thousands across the country and will give them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to feature in his upcoming venture. The casting of the film will begin soon but Bosco promises that there will be an A-lister. He added that the film will go on floors in the second half of the year.
