Uri: The Surgical Strike has received much adulation and is being highly-acclaimed at the box office. And there’s one person in particular, who really seemed to have liked it. It is none other than our very own Rishi Kapoor. The102 Not Out star, liked it so much that he took to Twitter to express his pride saying; “Saw URI. Terrific war fare film. Perhaps the best ever made in India. It bought home the point India has nothing against the citizens of Pakistan but those terrorists being trained in camps against us. Bravo. Let this be an eye opener”. Check out his tweet below:

He also went onto say that it is the best ever film made in India. Last year, around September, Rishi sent the internet into frenzy when he announced that he will be in America for a medical treatment. Soon, people on social media went crazy with rumours that the veteran actor has been suffering from cancer. The rumours started to spread even more when he was absent from his mother, Krishna Raj Kapoor’s funeral. Even on New Year, when Neetu Kapoor, his wife, posted a picture of the entire family, it showed Rishi not looking in the best of health. Neetu captioned her post cryptically saying “Happy 2019. No resolutions only wishes this year!!! Less pollution, traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign!!! No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health.” There is still no confirmation from the Kapoor Khandaan about the nature of Rishi’s ailment, but let’s just hope he will be in the pink of health soon. As for Uri, it has been doing great at the box office. The film has finally made it to the 100 crore club.
