Hasti DoshiWith election season approaching, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is spreading goodwill and reaching out to Bollywood celebrities. At the inauguration of the National Museum of Indian Cinema, PM Modi interacted with most of the celebrities present. During this interaction, Kartik Aaryan clicked a selfie along with Karan Johar, Dinesh Vijan and Imtiaz Ali in which PM Modi was seen in the background, but facing in the other direction and showing his back. But the enthusiasm of these celebs made them click the picture in the same way that ordinary fans would. Later, Kartik Aaryan posted this selfie on Twitter with the caption saying, “Losers’ backfie with the honourable PM, #imtiazali, @karanjohar #dineshvijan”. After Kartik tweeted this, the Prime Minister re-tweeted the picture saying, “Not losers but Rockstars! No selfie Jab we met but there will always be another occasion.” The internet went wild over this witty reply, which used names of two films made by Imtiaz Ali – Rockstar and Jab We Met. Kartik too was humbled by this gesture and called it ‘Epic’!
Kartik was also in the news today when pictures of him working out with Shraddha Kapoor were uploaded by her trainer. The two young and happening stars work out in the same gym, and sometimes under the same trainer too. But today, it was Kartik who became Shraddha’s trainer. This resulted in her breaking into a fit of giggles! Interestingly, just a couple of days back, Kartik Aaryan also became PETA’s new face in India. He tweeted his picture with the heading, ‘Chicks love a vegetarian’!
