As Sridevi’s Mom releases in China, Boney gets emotional

We told you earlier in the day how China has become a hotspot for the release of Bollywood films. In fact two films have found their way into the China markets this month alone. News is that late Sridevi’s last hit film Mom released in China today (May 10). Mom was acclaimed and praised in India and the film releasing in China got husband Boney Kapoor emotional as he spoke about it.

Mom that released in 2017 garnered immense amount of love for the already loved actress, the late Sridevi. Little did we know then that the film will be the last time we get to see the superstar on the big screen in a full-fledged role. Today the film released in China and Boney Kapoor channeling his love and emotions for his late wife tweeted, “Mom releases in China today. An emotional moment for me. Thank you @ZeeStudios_ for spreading Sri’s last film to such wider audiences. I hope people will connect with the film there too.”

Mom marked Sridevi’s 300^th film of her career. The film also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna, Adnan Siddiqui and Abhimanyu Singh in pivotal parts.
