Avengers: Endgame BEATS Dangal; becomes the all-time third-highest Monday grosser

Marvel’s popular superhero franchise might have come to an end, but looks like Avengers: Endgame is unstoppable at the box office. In fact, after a magnificent first weekend in India, the movie continued its record breaking run at the box office. It raked in Rs 31.05 crore on day 4, first Monday, helping it achieve yet another feat. Avengers: Endgame beat Dangal to become the all-time third-highest Monday grosser ever.

Yes, if you look at all the Monday collections of each film released in India till date, you will realise what we are trying to say. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 40 crore) holds the record for the highest Monday box office collection in India ever, followed by Krrish 3 (Rs 35.91 crore, Diwali Day). Avengers: Endgame (Rs 31.05 crore) slots in to the third position, with 2.0 (Rs 29 crore), Dangal (Rs 25.48 crore) and Sanju (Rs 25.35 crore) following suit at the Indian box office.
