Avengers: Endgame has been unstoppable at the Indian box office. The movie set the cash registers ringing ever since it released in India on April 26. After a tremendous weekend, the Marvel film saw a slight dip on Monday. However, the partial holiday owing to phase four of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 did benefit it. Everyone expected it to drop on day 5, but it didn’t! Yes, to everyone’s surprise, Avengers: Endgame collected Rs 31.07 crore on day 5 in India. And with that it crossed the coveted Rs 200 crore mark at the Indian box office!
Avengers: Endgame‘s box office tally in India now stands at Rs 215, which is huge for a Hollywood release, that too just in 5 days. Bollywood films also don’t collect this much in 5 days! In fact, collecting more than Rs 30 crore on day 5, especially on a working Tuesday is also huge. The fact that Avengers: Endgame is playing in just 2800 screens, makes this an even bigger achievement. What do you guys have to say about this development?
