Box Office Report: Uri DEMOLISHES Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Manikarnika

Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike is unstoppable at the box office. The film has not only impressed one and all courtesy its fantastic content, but it is raking in the moolah too! Even in its fourth week, on day 23, Uri continued to its magnificent run at the box office. The Vicky Kaushal-starrer raked in Rs 6.35 crore at the ticket window, to take its overall tally to Rs 180.82 crore. Apart from collecting such a fantastic amount, the movie has even demolished its competition. Yes, it has outperformed newer releases like Sonam K Ahuja’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi!

On Saturday (January 02), Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga saw a jump and collected Rs 5.25 crore. Similarly, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi earned Rs 4.65 crore at the box office. This is much lesser than what Uri: The Surgical Strike has managed to rake in! The movie is being mentioned in public speeches, in interviews, even in the Budget speech in the parliament. Clearly, it is a revolutionary film and we are extremely proud of it. Made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, Uri has earned more than Rs 180 crore at the domestic box office. Clearly, it is going to be one of the most profitable films of the year!
