Kabir Singh box office collection day 4: Shahid Kapoor – Kiara Advani’s film is rock steady; earns another massive amount

Shahid Kapoor – Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh might be a remake of a hit Telugu film, Arjun Reddy. But it is rewriting record books in Bollywood as it continues its fantastic run at the box office! The movie has not only become the highest opener for a Bollywood adult film, but also the highest weekend grosser for the same. But that’s not it! On day 4, Kabir Singh remained rock steady and passed the crucial Monday litmus test with flying colours. In fact, once again, the movie earned a massive amount. And stunned the trade!

Yes, the experts felt that the movie will see a massive dip as the weekdays kicked in! And while, Kabir Singh did see a marginal dip, it wasn’t as much as anticipated. For those of you who don’t remember, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial had raked in Rs 20.21 crore, Rs 22.71 crore and Rs 27.91 crore on Friday (day 1), Saturday (day 2) and Sunday (day 3) respectively. On day 4, the first Monday, it added another Rs 17.54 crore. And that took, Kabir Singh’s box office collection to Rs 88.37 crore, which is massive! Considering that, the movie got an adults only certificate, was released in 3100 screens and only had a decent buzz, it has performed phenomenally well.

Kabir Singh has been able to do so well courtesy the content. While a few critics ripped the film apart, people loved it. They loved Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s performance as well as the story and its execution!
