Varun Dhawan has been delivering back-to-back box office hits ever since he made his Bollywood debut with Student of the Year back in 2012. He has definitely evolved as an actor with time and proved his versatility with films like Badlapur, October and Sui Dhaaga. While most of Varun’s onscreen characters have stayed back with his fans, there are few which will always remain special.

Main Tera Hero

This masala movie will take you on a roller coaster ride and Varun’s character will definitely steal your hearts. He plays the typical good boy- bad boy role in the film and his oh-so-charming looks are drool-worthy as well. He plays Seenu in the movie and along with his character name; we also remember all his punch lines from the comic caper.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania

As Badri, Varun showed us his cute, sweet and innocent side. Paired with Alia Bhatt in this romantic drama, his character made many girls fall in love with him and his innocence.

October

In October, Varun played the most patient and absorbing character of his career. In Juhi Chaturvedi’s writing and under Soojit Sircar’s direction, Junior Dhawan shined bright in his role. Though Dany was flawed, he was one of us and that made him more relatable.

Badlapur

In this tragedy thriller, Varun for the very first time played an intense and dark character. It was interesting to see him in this new avatar and he totally nailed his character Raghu to perfection.

ABCD 2

As it is we know that Varun is super energetic and in this film he used all his energy in the right direction. His dance moves and grooves made many girls go weak in their knees. With ABCD 2, Dhawan proved what a terrific dancer he is and now we can’t wait to see him in another dance film. Starring alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Varun played the role of Suru in this flick and impressed everyone with his dance skills.
