Actor Sachin Pilgaonkar’s trophies stolen and sold for a pittance!

Actor director Sachin Pilgaonkar had won many trophies across his long career in Hindi and Marathi films & TV serials. Actor Sachin Pilgaonkar’s office boy sold the actors awards and trophies for Rs 300 each. The confession was made by the office boy after he was arrested by the Juhu police on Thursday.

Allegedly, Amrut Solanki worked as an office boy with the actor and used to be in office during some renovation work. Sachin who was called to the police station after Solanki was arrested for identification almost broke down when he was told that the trophies were sold to some scrap dealer.

Senior Police Inspector of the police station when contacted confirmed the incident but when quizzed about the details of the award said, “We have just arrested him and don’t really know which trophies have been sold.” Sachin has won several popular awards for various films and a national award as child artiste for his performance in Ajab Tujhe Sarkar.
