Close on the heels of its release, the novel series, After by Anna Todd became an instant global phenomenon with a huge fan following. Now the love story is hitting the big screen with actors Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin taking on the iconic lead roles of Tessa Young and Hardin Scott respectively. The film has been directed by Jenny Gage and will also star Peter Gallagher, Selma Blair, Jennifer Beals, Inanna Sarkis and Pia Mia in supporting roles.
The film’s story revolves around the smart, innocent, doe-eyed college freshman Tessa Young who finds herself falling for the college bad boy Hardin Scott. Despite her mother’s (Carol Young played by Selma Blair) disapproval and their opposing lifestyles, the two bond over literature and soon love. Along the way, Tessa must confront her true feelings and Hardin is forced to confront his own inner demons stemming from his volatile family life. Tessa and Hardin end up building a connection that slowly grows beyond their seemingly outward differences, and with the help of each other, overcome their own obstacles. The film is lustful, sensual and highlights the meaning of true love and happiness in the current generation. Check out the trailer below:

Besides, Selma Blair and Josephine Langford, the film also stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Shane Paul McGhie, Samuel Larsen, Khadijha Red Thunder, Swen Temmel, Inanna Sarkis, Peter Gallagher, Jennifer Beals, Pia Mia, Meadow Williams and Dylan Arnold.
