Yesterday (July 22) was one of the most iconic days in the space history of India as Chandrayaan 2 had a successful launch. The whole country cherished the moment and even the B-Towners expressed their happiness and pride for the same. Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan also had something to share and the actor went down memory lane to talk about an episode from 48 years ago.
Following the launch of Chandrayaan 2, the megastar became nostalgic and recalled how in 1969 he was shooting for his film Reshma Aur Shera when the team got to know about the first moon landing and shared what writer Ali Raza had to say. He further wrote how 2019 moon initiative will forever be special. Big B wrote, “T 3234 – Driving to Jaisalmer for shooting of ‘Reshma aur Shera’ in 1969, heard news first Moon landing .. writer Ali Raza with us said ‘romance of Moon in poetry gone forever’ .. 2019 India launches its Moon initiative .. poetry shall be written on romance of launch forever.”
