CHINA to be the GUEST COUNTRY in 14th Jaipur International Film Festival, INDIA

INDIA would witness the World Premiere of several films and the Indian Premiere of some films; 240 films from 52 countries are selected till now

Known worldwide for its prestige across the globe, JAIPUR INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL [JIFF] is preparing well to celebrate its 14th year. JIFF founder HANU ROJ asserted that the festival would be organized in hybrid mode [off-line online] from 7th to 11th January 2022 at Inox, GT central, Jaipur.

JIFF maintains the tradition to make a country its guest country every year. Along with honoring the filmmakers coming from the guest country; films from the guest country are screened for specially invited guests. In the 14th edition of the Film Festival ~ China has been chosen as the guest country. During the festival, from 8th to 11th January ~ 19 films from China would be screened. It’s mentionable that most of these films are made during the year 2021. This is how Indian CINE enthusiasts would witness the Indian premiere of several films and even the world premiere of a few ones.

These would be the SPECIAL FILMS 

In the festival ~ Father a documentary feature film by Deng Wei | Greetings by Hai Li U| feature fiction Love Laboratory by Veng | feature fiction Sorry I Forgive You by Jio Feng Long | short fiction Summer Tango would be the films, which would be enjoyed well by CINE lovers evidently.

Great enthusiasm in Filmmakers of CHINA 

Chief spokesperson Rajendra Boda told that Filmmakers of China are highly excited to participate in the film festival as CHINA has been declared the guest country. Filmmakers believe that if several rules and regulations due to the Covid protocol get lifted in India, they would definitely love to come with their films; otherwise, they would like to celebrate the online screening of their special shows.

240 FILMS from 52 COUNTRIES are selected till now

240 films from 52 countries have been selected in this five days film Festival, JIFF Founder Hanu Roj tells. Third and the last list would be declared on 21st December, where 20 more films from various countries would be chosen. Hence, a total of 260 films would be screened this time.

International jury choose the films

This year 2100 films from 52 countries were received, out of which these films are chosen by an international film selection committee consisting of 28 members. This jury includes two members from India and 26 members from America | Canada | France | Germany | Poland | England and other countries.

Delegate’s registration for the festival continues.
