Confirmed! Varun Dhawan – Sara Ali Khan unite for Coolie No 1; film takes off on THIS date

We had exclusively informed you that Varun Dhawan’s next will be a film with daddy David Dhawan. We had also reported that the film will be a remake of the 1995 release Coolie No 1 starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. Well, Varun’s film has been finally announced on his birthday today (April 24). Yes, the remake of Coolie No 1 is finally happening.

The film will also star the Simmba actress Sara Ali Khan as the female lead. The film will mark David Dhawan and Vashu Bhagnani’s reunion after 25 years and the makers are planning to commence the shoot for the film in August. Talking to CineBlitz, Varun had revealed that the film will have the same screenplay as the original but will be made more contemporary.
