Game Of Thrones Season 8: Daenerys Targaryen – Jon Snow to survive the Great War?

The final season of the most awaited fantasy drama will premiere on the small screen exactly 9 days from now but many fan theories regarding the show have already stormed the internet. Yes, the season 8 of Game of Thrones will air from April 14 onwards and fans are eagerly waiting, for winter has finally come. With the trailer and teasers that HBO has dropped, there is a lot that has already been predicted. Recently, the channel released two teasers called Aftermath and Together. In Aftermath, the caricatures of major characters are seen lying on the ground which appears to be a scene from after the Great War. But what caught our attention was a scene from the other teaser.

In case you didn’t notice, in the teaser video titled Together, Jon and Dany are seen together in a shot where the latter has turned her back towards Jon. However, the two are not in Winterfell. In the video, Dany is standing near a fireplace which appears to be the same that was seen at Dragonstone. This scene has given rise to the theory that it will only be Jon and Dany who will survive the Great War. There is a possibility that not only family and important allies but the mother of dragons may lose a lot more while fighting with the White Walkers. According to the theory, Jon and Daenerys could fly away from the war on their dragons. Apart from losing their loved ones, the two may realise that they cannot defeat the Night King. And so they could very well fly off courtesy their dragons. For now, it’s just a fan theory but we will have to wait and see if it actually comes true or not.

In season 7, we saw Daenerys lose one of her dragons. We even saw how Jon and the others couldn’t manage to fight with the army of the dead for long. Now that they have been uniting the seven kingdoms, will the show have a happy ending or will the makers shock the audience this time as well with their ending?
