Zoya Akhtar’s directorial Gully Boy, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt impressed everyone with the compelling story of Murad. But not just Ranveer, newbie Siddhant Chaturvedi also happened to garner a lot of love and appreciation for his role of MC Sher in the film. He became an overnight star and his fandom increased day by day with girls drooling over how good he looks, all the time. But it looks like this unexpected success has apparently gone to his head.

A source close to the Inside Edge actor revealed that now, Siddhant is not easily available to meet those who want to work with him. The source further informed that the Gully Boy actor doesn’t give time to the filmmakers to meet and take forward film proposals. He said that it’s not clear if this is a strategy that he is adopting, or whether he is taking his time to carefully select the project that he takes up next. The success of Gully Boy has put him in a different league altogether, so we guess we will have to wait and see how that pans out for him. But his new approach may easily be misread as ‘attitude’ by industry bigwigs who are not used to hearing nos.

Gully Boy, starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin, and Siddhant Chaturvedi released on February 14, 2019.
