Hina Khan on her Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 break: Ekta Kapoor is so fond of me, she doesn’t want me to go!

We have seen many shades of Hina Khan on the small screen, from the docile bahu to a headstrong lady to a celebrated vamp; she has pulled all of it quite well. However, not too long ago there were reports about Hina taking a break from the show. Well, in the past she must have denied doing so, but recently, when we interviewed the actress, she confirmed the same. The reason behind this is her choc-o-block schedule as she has signed a few films and will be busy shooting for them which is why she might have to say goodbye to Komolika’s character.

When we asked Hina about quitting Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, the actress replied saying, “Well, I am definitely taking a break. I cannot ask them to hold back a character and not have Komolika in the show. If it’s very much required, how can I stop it or they hold back? They will have to show Komolika, so I completely understand there is no hard feeling. In fact, the entire unit loves me, Ekta is so fond of me, she just doesn’t want me to go. It is difficult, but right now I am definitely taking a break, there is a 4-5 months gap in between so let’s see how it goes.” She further added, “If they need Komolika, they will get another Komolika. But right now there is nothing like that because they definitely don’t want me to go. Komolika is doing wonders, the character is loved by the audience, and I was not expecting the awards. But I got the best actor popular and critic both. The show also became number one so I consider myself lucky that all good things are happening and I am working hard to be very honest.”

In the past, we have seen Hina on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata, Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, Bigg Boss 11 and now other than Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, the actress will be seen in an international film called Lines. She will also be making her debut in Bollywood debut with a Vikram Bhatt film.
