Hrithik Roshan’s emotional message ahead of dad Rakesh Roshan’s surgery will leave you teary-eyed

Veteran actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma for which he will be undergoing a surgery today. Hrithik Roshan took to instagram early today to post an emotional message for his father giving an insight of the positivity with which he is battling it out.

In fact, the senior filmmaker – who has directed, several hit films including Khoon Bhari Maang, Karan Arjun, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish, among others – is making sure that he not miss out his fitness regime inspite of the surgery ahead. Sharing a pic of them both ahead of their work-out session, the actor posted: “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldnt miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad.”

A few years ago, Hrithik’s sister Sunaina had been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She emerged a survivor and had shared how Hrithik was her constant source of strength then.
