Kalank teaser launch LIVE updates: Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Johar, Abhishek Varman are having a gala time as they reveal the grand teaser of the period film
The Kalank teaser launch took place today (March 12) in Mumbai. Directed by Abhishek Varman, the period drama is about two families during the India – Pakistan tension in the 1940’s. Starring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, the film is all set to release on April 17. But before that, the team came together for the Kalank teaser launch. Apart from the stars, producers Karan Johar (Dharma Productions), Sajid Nadiadwala (Nadiadwala Gradson Entertainment) and Vijay Singh (Fox Star India) were also present. At the grand launch, the stars were all decked up and excited. Yes, they obviously showed us promo. But wait, there’s more!
Apart from showcasing the Kalank teaser, the team also interacted with the media. Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and others spoke about Kalank. From talking about the movie, the scale it was made on, the action and romantic sequences and several other topics, the stars made some surprising revelations. Varun – Alia got emotional, while Sanjay – Madhuri cherished the fact that they are working together once again. They even took media questions and it was a joyous event.
