Kesari cast at BSF CAMP: Akshay performs a handstand while Parineeti sings for the jawans.

Akshay Kumar-Parineeti Chopra’s Kesari releases this Thursday (March 21) and the cast and crew are doing every last bit of promotion to get the word out. We saw Akshay and Parineeti promote the film on The Kapil Sharma show that also had CRPF Jawaans with their families in attendance. Now the Kesari actors also attended a BSF camp up north of the country to celebrate the festivities of upcoming Holi.  Isn’t it sweet? How the actors took time out from their busy promo schedules to meet some jawans and entertain them.

Khiladi Akshay Kumar dressed the part with the jawans, looking super fit as ever. Sporting camouflage cargos with boots, Akshay showed off his discipline and training when he put up a show on fitness for the awestruck fans at the camp. The super-fit actor did a headstand for more than 12 seconds which led to him getting applauded by everyone. Parineeti also sang for the jawans, rather melodiously. Dressed in a purple dress, clinching in her waist with a multicolored elastic belt, the young actress was very excited as she interacted with the brave jawans at camp.

Akshay and Parineeti’s Kesari is another untold heroic story set in 1897, when Havildar Ishar Singh along with 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army fought against the 10,000 Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen in the Battle of Saragarhi. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Apurva Mehta, and Sunir Kheterpal. Other than this film, Akshay is also working on Housefull 4 opposite Kriti Sanon and Bobby Deol and Hera Pheri 3 co-starring Paresh Rawal and John Abraham. Are you excited for Kesari?
