Kesari – the story of the turban-clad Havildar Ishar Singh is just a day away from release. Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra along with the team left no stone unturned to make the film look authentic and it looks like it has worked its magic on the B-Towners. Before the release of the film tomorrow (March 21), celebrities took to their social media page and praised the film. Akshay has, as usual, impressed everyone and the director Anurag Singh has also garnered a lot of appreciation for his work.
Dhadak director Shashank Khaitan couldn’t help but praise Akshay as he wrote, “@akshaykumar Sir has delivered one of his best performances. He brings alive the character of Ishar Singh. He is such a natural at action sequences. Without shouting even once he showed the aggression of a Lion. The madness in his eyes in the climax fight was brilliant. @karanjohar,” but he did not stop at this. He absolutely loved the film and called it a very powerful film. He even congratulated director Anurag Singh on the awesome Hindi film. The action sequences and dialogue punches of the film have also been given a thumbs up by the celebs and now the fans are waiting to see the movie.

For those unaware, Kesari is based upon a true event of the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi. 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans and the film has beautifully portrayed their journey. Produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Kesari is releasing on March 21. Till then, for more news and updates from Bollywood, stay tuned to Cine Blitz.
