Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 takes entertainment to ‘Darr Next Level’

Surviving in a jungle is no cakewalk because the biggest challenge is to beat the ultimate beast, one’s own fear. Raising the fear factor to a whole new level, India’s most awaited stunt-based reality show, Maruti Suzuki presents ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’, returns on COLORS with an exciting jungle-themed season. The undisputed action maestro and host of the show, Rohit Shetty will test the courage of 14 daredevil contestants with never-seen-before stunts in the wilderness of Cape Town, South Africa. Filled with the spirit of untamed adventure, the contestants will be seen exercising their physical and mental prowess as they navigate a maze of their worst terrors. Produced by Endemol Shine India, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’ will premiere on the 15th of July and thereafter air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 pm, only on COLORS.

The contestants who will battle their fears are celebrities across different vocations including seasoned actor Rohit Bose Roy, B-town diva Daisy Shah, Shiv Thakare and Archana Gautam of the Bigg Boss 16 fame, popular television actors Anjali Anand, Nyrraa M Banerji, Anjum Fakih, Ruhi Chaturvedi, Aishwarya Sharma, Arjit Taneja and Sheezan M. Khan, rapper Dino James, singer, and songwriter Rashmeet Kaur, and Moroccan model Soundous Moufakir. This edition is set to showcase South Africa’s iconic jungle safari and introduce a big twist with a new game-changing element titled ‘Code Red’. Its diktat is that panic-stricken contestants entombed in a glass box must choose their fate and their decision shall drive their trajectory on the show.

In the premiere week, viewers are in for a treat as host Rohit Shetty makes a grand entry in a helicopter. The big twist is that the thrilling spectacle of helicopter will turn into a challenge for the 14 contestants. They will be tasked to cling onto the giant cargo bags suspended from a rope tied to the chopper immersing them in the lake. The stakes are high, as only the last three contestants who maintain their grip on the bags will emerge victorious, setting a triumphant tone for their journey on the show.
