83 that stars Ranveer Singh conveys the story of India’s first victory in the 1983 cricket World Cup. Ranveer plays Kapil Dev who was the captain of the Indian cricket team then. While Ranveer and the entire team is prepping real hard for their role, the Simmba actor is also seen taking some insights and gaining knowledge from none other than the legend himself – Kapil Dev.

‘83 the film shared pictures of the actor and the cricketer captioning, “Insightful conversations and inspiring stories are the seeds you need to deliver exceptional performances.” The entire team of actors have been practising with the heroes themselves. Recently, Sajid Nadiadwala hopped on board to co-produce the film.
