Annabelle Comes Home: Conjuring Universe’s latest offering to release on THIS date in India

We all know that Conjuring director James Wan has been behind all the spooks and scares in our lives. He has not only given us Conjuring but its a sequel that is Conjuring 2 and the most spine-chilling of them all, Annabelle and Annabelle Creation. All his horror movies got us hooked and were intriguing enough to send chills down our spine. Well, if you’re an avid fan of horror and have been a fan of this franchise, get ready for the last film of the Conjuring Universe. Are you ready? Wait, are you sure you’re ready? Alright, Annabelle Comes Home will be hitting the theatres soon. Yes, you read that right. Excited yet?

First, before we reveal the date of its release, let us walk you through the expanded franchise. The first part of Conjuring hit theatres in 2013 and it earned much recognition. Then came Annabelle, which was also quite appreciated by the general public. After the two major films that gave us goosebumps, Conjuring 2 and Annabelle Creation were released. They too were quite captivating but not as much as the first two. If you weren’t aware, Director James Wan, has also directed the Saw franchise, the Insidious franchise, Fast and Furious 7 and Aquaman.

The Conjuring Universe has been really close to James’ heart and while he’s only directed two Conjuring movies, he’s produced two of the Annabelle movies and is the writer and producer for the Conjuring spin-offs, The Nun and The Crooked Man, which were produced under New Line for Warner Bros. James was quoted saying, “One of the things that occurred to all of us early on is, they have a superhero universe, why can’t we do that in the horror world? So many other great stories not explored in horror films that are too awesome not to look into and develop further.”
