Lucknow police is looking for Kanika’s friend

The Lucknow police is in search of a Mumbai based business person Ojas Desai. The person was present with singer Kanika Kapoor at Hotel Taj in Lucknow.

It is learnt that the police has been able to track at least 260 people who interacted with Kanika after she returned from UK.

The Chief medical officer CMO Dr Narendra Agarwal told mediapersons that they have been trying to track down Desai as they didnt have the exact address of the man.

Kanika is in quarantine and is not contactable. The Hotel has sent 11 of its employees into quarantine.  “We are keeping close watch on their health and necessary checks are being done,” said a hotel official.

The Hotel Taj has been shut down by the Lucknow administration after it was found that the singer had stayed there. Kanika will continue to remain in Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences till she test negative for Corona Virus.
