Having delighted one and all with its dynamic content spanning across genres, ALTBalaji and ZEE5 the two giant OTT platforms are all set to take the resounding success of the drama-thriller, ‘The Test Case’ to the next level. The series that kept the audiences on the edge of their seats in season 1, recently announced the much-awaited season 2 of ‘The Test Case’. Taking her successful association with ALTBalaji to the next level post the success of ‘Broken But Beautiful’ franchise, the makers have now roped in the talented Harleen Sethi as the lead for the second season of their acclaimed show, ‘The Test Case 2’. ALTBalaji and ZEE5 announced the second season as a salute to the Indian Army and the relentless service they provide to the nation. Building the anticipation and excitement even further, the makers of the popular web show dropped the show teaser.

Touted as one of the most appreciated and popular shows on ALTBalaji, the first season featured Nimrat Kaur in the titular role of Captain Shikha Sharma. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and Vinay Waikul, the series follows the first woman in a combat role in the army, who aims to serve the nation by excelling in the male-dominated military spectrum. The second season promises to be bigger, better, and edgier than the first one. Set in the paradise of India, Kashmir, it is a story of belief, loyalty, espionage, and guerrilla warfare.

Commenting on her successful association with ALTBalaji and the show, Harleen Sethi says, ”I am truly excited to be a part of a show like ‘The Test Case 2’. It’s a great opportunity in the sense that I always wanted to play a character in the uniform. And while it’s a great honour to be a part of a show that celebrates patriotism, courage, and sacrifice, it’s also a huge responsibility to portray a strong and challenging character on screen. I am sure the preparation and shooting experience will certainly help me to push the envelope as an actor and more so as an individual. I am really looking forward to it.”

Produced by the Juggernaut Productions and written by Sagar Pandya, ‘The Test Case 2’ is a story of a woman officer’s journey to prove that she can stand head-to-head in a conflict and combat zone and take on the enemy. A story of zest, hope, and equality where at no point in the mission – she will step back, develop weak knees or crack under pressure.
