The teaser of Salman Khan’s much-awaited, much-hyped forthcoming film Bharat was released on the Internet today. This is the third time Ali Abbas Zafar is directing Salman Khan. Before this, he had made two huge hit films with the superstar, Sultan in 2016 and Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017. The trailer release of Bharat has made the film a rage with moviegoers and Salman Khan fans. It has further fuelled their excitement and anticipation for the release of the film this coming Eid.
The film is based on the South Korean drama Ode To My Father, and the story spans over a period of 60 years with Salman in four different avatars for the character. The trailer is set in the difficult times of Partition and a voice over by Salman introduces the character Bharat, saying he is without a surname, caste or creed, because he is named after his country – Bharat.

The trailer introduces Salman in and as Bharat, the journey of the man and a country. Salman can be seen in many looks and in many professions – in the all-whites of a Naval Officer, a stuntman doing difficult daredevilry acts, a dedicated fireman, a person at the Wagah border and an aging boxer (trained by Sunil Grover) with a tough, rugged, no-nonsense look. It has already got the Internet raving. Check out their reactions:

Bharat has no surname; it is about an Indian who rises above caste, creed and religion. The message is for all of us to be Indians first and stay united as one. That is the strong message of this patriotic drama film. Bharat has been co-produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and stars Salman, Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani and Sunil Grover in vital roles. Also, Varun Dhawan will be seen doing a cameo in the film. Stay tuned to Cine Blitz for more updates on Bollywood news and gossip.
