Sasural Simar Ka fame child actor Shivlekh Singh passes away

Sasural Simar Ka child artist Shivlekh Singh passed away in Chhattisgarh on Thursday (July 18). As reported by a news agency, the child actor met with a car accident near the outskirts of Raipur as it collided with a truck. His parents and another person were critically injured.

The accident took place around 3 pm in Dharsiwa area as the victims were heading to Raipur from Bilaspur for a media interview. Raipur Superintendent of Police Arif Sheikh confirmed with media that Shivlekh died on the spot, while his mother Lekhna and father Shivendra Singh and another person identified as Naveen Singh were injured. Their car hit the rear side of a truck coming their way.

The SP added that the truck driver fled the accident spot leaving his truck behind and he is being searched for. Meanwhile, the actor’s mother’s health is said to be critical.

Shivlekh, who was living in Mumbai with his parents since ten years was a native from Janjgir-Champa region of Chhattisgarh and had worked on other TV serials, including Sankatmochan Hanuman.
