Twitter’s response to Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria’s outfits in SOTY 2 trailer and posters will leave you in splits!

SOTY 2 poster

With the highly-anticipated and heavily-promoted release of the SOTY 2 trailer, and the theatrical posters and videos doing the rounds over the past few months, Twitter has exploded with 140-characters of pure troll gold! Everything from the ridiculous “school” outfits of the definitely-not-teenage-actors as well as Karan Johar’s persisting nepotism attitude in terms of the stars he chooses to launch (Ananya Panday being Chunky Panday’s daughter) have been victims. The latter, however, is a problem that has existed for years, and would probably deserve a much more in-depth and detailed conversation for itself. So, for the sake of keeping this piece light-hearted, let’s just focus on the plethora of roasts that have flooded Twitter about the different questionable outfits in SOTY 2.

It’s no secret that Karan Johar’s depictions of educational institutions have and always will be the farthest thing from real life. But, can you blame the guy? It’s clearly been a while since he last enrolled in one himself. But in addition to his over-dramatized portrayal of schools being a madhouse fuelled by fully grown, jacked boys with their seemingly pointless rivalries, and pretty, preppy, eye-candy chicks who look and dress like runway models 24/7, his wardrobe selections for the leading girls in SOTY 2 has definitely strayed the farthest from reality. The movie has been brimming with booty shorts, meshed crop tops and bralettes galore, which any Indian can confidently say has never been accepted in an educational setting.

However, SOTY 2’s predecessor had Alia Bhatt wearing a definitely-above-the-knee uniform skirt and a wide assortment of short shorts and pencil skirts to school. So, it makes sense that Karan Johar would continue to apply the old adage that “sex sells” with the sequel too.

Shraddha Kapoor

SS Rajamouli’s RRR has garnered lots of attention due to several reasons. The project is a massive affair and one of its kinds. Earlier we saw that foreign actress Daisy Edgar Jones walk out of the project and there was news that Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor will take her place. But the news has it that Shraddha won’t be a part of RRR.

Shraddha who is right now juggling between many projects, will make her south debut opposite Prabhas in the super action film Saaho. There were also speculations that Shraddha will be joining the cast of Rajamouli’s ambitious project RRR. Daisy was supposed to make her debut with the film but backed out due to reasons unknown. After which there were reports of Rajamouli considering Shraddha. But the actress won’t be a part of the project. Meanwhile the space still stay vacant and now we guess who will be the next choice.

Considering Shraddha had to turn down the Saina Nehwal biopic due to date issues, it wasn’t very shocking to know that she won’t star in RRR. Rajamouli’s film stars big names like Ram Charan, Junior NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. The estimate budget of this magnum opus is said to be Rs 350-400 crores. For more updates and gossip about Bollywood, stay tuned to CineBlitz.

Urmila Matondkar, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, what will Lok Sabha elections 2019 bring for them? Bhavikk Sangghvi Predicts

Lok Sabha election 2019: Famous astro-numerologist Bhavikk Sangghvi predicts the future of Bollywood celebs contesting in this election

Published at

on

Hema Malini Urmila Matondkar Shatrughan Sinha

It’s that time of the year when most of us would be inquisitive to know what will be the result of Lok Sabha elections 2019? A Bollywood fanatic and a movie buff (like me) will go even further and will be eager to know which celebs contesting for the same will make it or break it?

Numerologically, the year 2019 (2 + 0 + 1 + 9 = 12 = 1 + 2 =3) comes under the dominance of Number 3 (Jupiter) – the planet of wealth.

People born under the zodiac sign of Pisces (20th February – 20th March) or ‘Meen rashi’ (moon sign) and Sagittarius (23rd November – 21st December) or ‘Dhanu rashi’ are also ruled by Number 3.

In numerology, the set of 3, 6, 8 and 9 are considered to be like a ‘family’ of numbers and 2019 generally will be a good year for people who are born on the dates or the series of 3, 6, 8 and 9 such as 3, 12, 21, 30 or 6, 15 or 24 or 8, 17, 26 or 9, 18 and 27.

Now read my predictions below to find out what the ‘stars’ hold for our Bollywood stars contesting for the 2019 elections.

Hema Malini (16th October 1948):

Hema Malini in Mathura

Our very own dream girl is ruled by Number 7 (Ketu), Number 6 (ruler Venus – Libra) and Number 3 (Jupiter). Since she is ruled by Number 7, she is automatically ruled by Number 7 (Moon) as these two numbers always go hand-in-hand. Supporting the BJP, she is mostly likely to win once again from her constituency Mathura as being in her 71st year, her stars are favourable at the moment.

Shatrughan Sinha (15th July 1946):

Shatrughan Sinha

He did not remain ‘khamosh’ being dropped from BJP but joined the NCP in no time. Shatruji is ruled by Number 6 (Venus), Numbers 2 and 7 (ruler Moon and Ketu – Cancer) and Number 6 (Venus) again. In his 73rd year, the actor politician is passing through some tough luck and shall lose the election from Patna Sahib constituency against a strong candidate like Ravi Shankar Prasad (BJP).

Urmila Matondkar (4th February 1974):

Urmila matondkar declares her assests

The ‘mast-mast’ girl and NCP supporter contesting for Mumbai North constituency is primarily ruled by Rahu (Number 4). Being an Aquarian, she is also ruled by Number 8 (Saturn) and her destiny number adds to Number 9 (Mars). The current year 2019 is proving difficult for most Number 1 and 4 people and Urmila fits into this category directly. Needless to say, her first foray into politics will be a disappointing one.

Poonam Sinha (3rd November 1949):

Poonam Sinha

Following the footsteps of her husband Shatruji who joined the NCP, she joined the Samajwadi Party and will be contesting from Lucknow. Poonamji is a Number 3 (Jupiter) person in numerology also ruled by Number 9 (Mars – Scorpio) and Number 1 (Sun). In her 70th year, she too is not passing through a good phase luck-wise and is most likely to get defeated against tough opponent like Rajnath Singh (BJP).

Jaya Prada (3rd April 1962):

Jayaji is ruled by Number 3 (Jupiter), Number 9 (ruler Mars – Aries) and Number 7 (Ketu). Being ruled by Number 7, she is also ruled by Number 2 (Moon). After losing in 2014 general elections, Jayaji is now a BJP supporter and currently in her 58th year is passing through a bad phase and will once again face defeat from her constituency Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur.

Shilpa Shinde (28th August 1977):

Shilpa Shinde

The original ‘bhabhi’ of the nation, Shilpa is ruled by Number 1 (Sun), Number 5 (ruler Mercury – Virgo) and Number 6 (Venus). After her infamous ouster from the popular television sitcom, she managed to win Bigg Boss 11 but politics is a different ball game. Supporting the NCP, she may add some glamour to the party, but her limited knowledge in the field will act as a deterrent and she may even bid adieu to politics soon. Sahi ‘nahi’ pakde hai!

Priya Dutt (28th August 1966):

Priya Dutt

Priya is ruled by Number 1 (Sun), Number 5 (Mercury – Virgo) and her ‘destiny’ number adds up to Number 4 (Rahu). Being an NCP supporter, Priya will be in the news due to her famous family but her current stars are not that favourable to make her win the Mumbai North Central seat against strong contender like Poonam Mahajan (BJP).

This election there are many Bollywood biggies contesting and it seems Sunny Deol is the new name on the block. Recently, he was spotted at the Pune airport lounge with the party president Amit Shah, which hints at the actor entering politics soon. According to reports, the meeting lasted for a few minutes. If all goes well, Sunny will be contesting from the same seat that Navjot Singh Siddhu contested and won two elections from in 2004 and 2009.
