Launching its upcoming love story of opposites in a truly unique manner amidst its natural backdrop of Amritsar, Zee TV recently introduced  the main leads of Teri Meri Ikk Jindri at a media junket in the city. The catchy promos of the show and the media buzz around this adorable love story based in Amritsar seem to have caught the attention of Bollywood singer and performer Mika Singh who has tried his hand for the very first time with rap for the show. Adding his inimitable, quirky edge to this Punjabi love story and celebrating the contrasting personalities of its leads,  Mika has posted a catchy rap song dedicated to this show on his social media handles a couple of hours ago.

Mika said“With the very name of Zee TV’s new show,  Teri Meri Ikk Jindri being so Punjabi and the concept being that of romance between two seemingly opposite personalities, the promos of the show caught my attention. While jamming with the creative and marketing teams at Zee TV for another show I am doing on the channel, I spontaneously came up with the idea of capturing its essence of this show through rap considering that is the current trend in music. This song comprises a mix of melody and rap and I hope audiences love my rap as much as they are going to love this love story.”

Speaking about his long-standing association with Zee TV, Mika shared, “Zee ke saath mera bahut purana Rishta hai. I have done over 20 shows with them out of which Sa Re Ga Ma Pa was the most popular show and currently I am also associated with their upcoming non-fiction property, Indian Pro Music League as well. It always feels great to work with them.”

The trailer of Mahi and Jogi’s unusual love story has seen a rather overwhelming response amongst the audience as they eagerly wait with bated breaths for the show to launch. Featuring popular television  actor Adhvik Mahajan alongside Amandeep Sidhu, the show is all set to premiere on 27th January 2021, every Monday to Saturday at 8pm only on Zee TV
