Kangana Ranaut is one feisty actress. Not the ones to shy down from speaking her mind, she’s even taken on the high and mighty of the industry. The actress has courageously sailed through every difficulty that’s come her way. Not once but many times over. The actress entered the industry and made her mark on her own. As we celebrate Kangana’s birthday today (March 23) we bring to you the many times she has fearlessly been a self-saviour and taken on anyone who dared to take a panga with her.
Karan Johar:
If this particular episode of Koffee with Karan doesn’t make it to Kangana’s biopic then what will? She called Karan Johar the flag bearer of nepotism on his own talk show. It is a fact that nepotism exists and it isn’t going anywhere soon. But it takes courage say that out loud on national television and to the person who is one of the most influential filmmakers of the industry.
Hrithik Roshan:
Well, let’s just say this lady has guts. She knew that she was risking everything when she called out Hrithik Roshan. It is said that the two were in an alleged relationship and broke up later. In 2016 Kangana filed a law suit, which resulted in Hrithik also filing one against her. This episode is a complete thesis in itself and trust us, there is not exit to this puzzle yet.
Hansal Mehta:
There was a whole lot of fight over the writing credits for the film Simran that starred Kangana in lead and the debates and arguments had taken the centre-stage then. She was also accused of taking over the film and ghost directing it. It all begun with the trailer, where she was credited as the additional dialogue and story writer. This didn’t go well with the writer Apurva Asrani and the conflict between Hansal, Kangana and Apurva started.
Krish:
Kangana’s last outing Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi was partially directed by her. Well, this lady can do anything you can imagine and you cannot doubt that. The original director Krish leaving the project midway was just one of the obstacles that the film had to face during the making. To make sure that nothing suffers, Kangana wore the director’s hat and went on to direct a film for the first time and that too a period film.
Shabana Azmi:
It was last month that the Pulwama terror attacks shook the country and we lost our 40 CRPF jawans. In the wake of the attack many Bollywood members took a stand against Pakistan. Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar cancelled their trip to Karachi that they were to take in the following day and called for an halt on cultural exchange. Well that didn’t go well with Kangana. According to her, they shouldn’t have even planned to go there in the first place. The debate after that is not so old and we all know what followed.
