Actor Rajkummar Rao and producer Dinesh Vijan share a great camaraderie. This was proved when their film Stree released last year (2018). The makers of the film left the film open-ended and the audience has been since asking for its sequel. While Vijan did confirm a sequel, his next with Rao is not a part of the Stree trilogy. Titled, Rooh-Afza, the film will have yet another interesting plot set in the city of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Rajkummar has been roped in for the lead role and the makers, Vijan and Mrighdeep Lamba are still looking for the female lead. The film will go on floors in May.

According to reports, the plot of the film will revolve around a similar funny concept just like that of Stree. Set on a folk-lore, the film will show how the women of a village keep their better halves awake at the special night of the nuptials. Why? To keep the evil witch away and preventing her from entering the bride’s body and creating chaos. Sounds interesting right? Wait until you get to know who else is a part of this film. Fukrey fame, Varun Sharma will add the humour quotient in the film. Share your thoughts on it in the comments section below.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar has been impressing everyone with his amazing work in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga starring Sonam K Ahuja, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla. He is also associated with Vijan for his upcoming film, Made In China. Rao will be essaying the role of a struggling businessman and the film is his rags to riches story. Gold star Mouni Roy will also be a part of this film. As for Dinesh, his film Luka Chuppi starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, is all set to hit the theatres this Friday (March 3). Till then, stay tuned to this space for more interesting updates.
