Rajkummar Rao roped in for Karan Johar’s Dostana 2?

2008’s Dharma Production film Dostana that starred Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra was a perky attempt to introduce the LGBTQ world to the Hindi cinema audience. And surprisingly, the film impressed many. For a very long time, there were discussions that a part two is in the pipeline, but Karan Johar often denied it. The audience speculated the cast and the storyline, and putting all rumours to rest now, we know who is going to star in the sequel of Dostana.

It is being said that actor Rajkummar Rao might be a part of this multi-starrer Dharma film. Well, he has become every director’s favourite and his diverse roles have surely proven his mettle. While we saw him in a fun avatar in Stree, we are certain that Rajkummar will nail it in Dostana 2. And while the actor has a great sense of comedy, we would surely like to see him play another fun role on the big screen.

Apart from this film, the 34-year-old actor has his plate full of promising projects. He will reunite with Dinesh Vijan for another horror comedy titled Rooh Afza along with Janhvi Kapoor. He is also working on Made In China that releases on August 15 this year. There is also Ekta Kapoor’s Mental Hai Kya, Anurag Basu’s Imli and Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan, in Rajkummar’s kitty.
