RK Studio has finally been SOLD and we have all the deets

The famous RK Studios in Mumbai had been quite a significant possession of the Kapoor family. Not just for the Kapoors, the legacy of the studio extended to the history of Indian cinema itself. However, according to the latest reports coming in, it is being said that the 2.2 acre property that was founded by Randhir and Rishi Kapoor’s father Raj Kapoor has been sold.

Yes, as per media reports, Chembur’s famous RK Studios has been sold to Godrej Properties. A top executive from the company has confirmed this deal and also said that the property will be converted into a residential complex. In October 2018, it was said that the Kapoors were in talks with Godrej and the speculated amount for the deal was around Rs 200 crore. Now even though the deal has been confirmed, the amount remains disclosed. In a statement, Randhir Kapoor confirmed the deal calling the property of tremendous significance to his family.
