Salman Khan joins Congress for Lok Sabha Elections 2019? Here’s the TRUTH!

Salman Khan is one of the most popular Bollywood celebrities. He commands a massive fan following across India and abroad. With such a crazy command over people, several political parties have approached the superstar to join them. Recent, reports suggest that Congress has been trying to rope him in for the Lok Sabha 2019 Elections. In fact, speculations were rife since a couple of days that he has agreed and will stand from the Indore constituency. However, looks like all these reports are absolutely rubbish! Salman Khan quashed all these rumours through his tweet!

After hearing all these reports, Salman Khan felt it was right to inform all his fans. This was done so that no one gets influenced. He wrote on the micro-blogging site Twitter: “Contrary to the rumours I am not contesting elections nor campaigning for any political party.” The actor has earlier campaigned for Congress on a couple of occasions. But this time that’s not the case and his tweet is proof! Earlier in the day, Salman had also replied to Narendra Modi’s tweet to him. The Indian Prime Minister had called upon him and several Bollywood stars to urge people to vote during the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. The Bharat actor retweeted it and wrote, “We are a democracy and it is every Indian’s right to vote. I urge every eligible Indian to exercise your right and participate in making the Government.”
