South’s Prithvi Ambar to star in Marathi film Sari

Prithvi Amber is all set to make her Marathi film debut after making her strong acting mark in Kannada, Tulu, Tamil and Hindi films. Ashoka K. S. Prithvi is entering Marathi cinema with his film ‘Sari’. The love triangle film stars Prithvi in the lead role, along with Ajinkya Raut, Ritika Shrotri and Mrinal Kulkarni in lead roles. The audience has already seen a glimpse of Prithvi in the song. Now, the audience is eager to see what kind of character Prithvi is in.

Although Prithvi is Amrathi, it is closely related to Marathi. This is revealed by the earth itself. About her Marathi debut, Prithvi Amber says, “Though I was born in Udupi, Karnataka, it was a tradition for me to visit Mumbai every summer vacation and that’s how I got to know the Marathi language and culture. I have many close relatives and friends who are Marathi speaking. I am a fan of classic films like Natrang, Natsamrat and Sairat. I watch these movies again and again for the best acting, actors and music. I never imagined that I will act in a Marathi film. I am very happy to have the opportunity to work in a Marathi film with such talented actors like Ajinkya Raut, Ritika Shrotri and my forever favorite Mrinal Kulkarni ma’am. My mentor, director Ashoka K. S. I thank sir, who gave me support and strength and also thanks to the producers who gave me this opportunity.”
