SS Rajamouli’s RRR shoot called off because of THIS this reason

After the Bahubali franchise, SS Rajamouli’s next project RRR is touted to be one of his biggest projects ever made. Starring South stars Junior NTR and Ram Charan, the film is said to be made on a huge budget of 300 crores. The team roped in Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn for pivotal roles in the film as well. The shoot for the film started a month ago and was going smooth until it hit this major roadblock.

The team was shooting in Pune, Maharashtra for a couple of days now but will have to call off the rest of the shoot as lead actor Ram Charan injured himself. He inadvertently wounded his ankle while working out in the gym day before yesterday (April 2). The team informed, “We regret to mention that #RamCharan confronted a minor ankle injury while working out at the gym, yesterday. The Pune schedule has been called off. Back to action in 3 weeks!”

Set in the 1920s, the film will revolve around two freedom fighters. It will show a fictitious story of two soldiers who stay away from home and fight for the country. The film is slated for July 30 release next year (2020) and will be released in ten Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
