Hrithik Roshan on his Twitter handle announced the release date of his much awaited film Super 30. The film which was scheduled to release on January 25 initially, changed to April 5, and will now release on July 26. But the question everybody has is, will Vikas Bahl still be credited as the director?

It is confirmed that Vikas Bahl and no one else, will be credited as the director of Super 30. Lawyer Hitesh Jain, when asked about this, said, “The court case is still pending, but as per the agreement, Vikas continues to be the director of the film”. The controversy around Vikas Bahl began when he was called out by an ex-employee of Phantom productions, during the #MeToo movement. The news floating around was that Vikas had to back out as the director of the film, and the project was on hold for a period of time. This was also the reason for the delay in its completion and release. We also reported the news that Hrithik himself had turned editor for the film, in order to hasten up its release. Now, with everything falling into place, the film will be out for the public in July.

Super 30 is based on mathematician Anand Kumar and his life, in which Hrithik Roshan plays Anand Kumar, and has transformed himself physically, for the character, as seen in the poster that released a while ago. Vikas Bahl’s last film as a director was Shaandaar which was quite a flop. Let’s see if Vikas creates an impact with this one, if the film sees the light of the day on the date announced.
