Tamil Bigg Boss 3: Here’s all that made news during the show’s first week – read on

Bigg Boss Tamil 3 kickstarted last Sunday (June 23) and it gave the viewers a lot of gossip right in its first week. Hosted by actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan, the show started with 15 participants, however, it had two special entries making it a house of 17 contestants. The show that feeds on drama and controversies never fails to make news.

The show started with Bigg Boss electing Vanitha Vijay Kumar of Chandralekha (1995) fame as the captain of the house for the first week. And the actress already gained her reputation in the house by getting into arguments with other contestants, especially with Sakshi Agarwal, over eating pongal for a second consecutive day. It took fans by storm on the internet. Later, actor Meera Mithun also got into a quarrel with Vanitha, for calling her too authoritative. Sakshi and Meera created another drama with Nerkonda Paarvai actress Abhirami Venkatachalam. Besides, actor Reshma’s domestic abuse experience and survival and Paruthiveeran Saravanan’s story of hard times made everyone emotional.

The first big drama broke inside the house when contestants got into heated arguments with each other. An issue broke out between Abhirami and Madhumitha on being a Tamil woman. Actors Sherin and Kavin supported Abhirami calling out Madhumitha on character assassinating the latter. However the issue was later solved by the other contestants.
