Veteran actor Mrinal Mukherjee passes away

It is indeed saddening for many, veteran actor Mrinal Mukherjee has left for heavenly abode. The film and television actor breath his last yesterday (May 7) after battling cancer for a long time. He was even diagnosed with geriatric issues and jaundice later and passed away at the age of 74.

The late actor was reportedly admitted in a private hospital in Kolkata for his treatment. His health started deteriorating day before yesterday (May 6) and on May 7, he succumbed to death. For those of you who don’t know, the actor was so passionate about his work that he continued to work despite his ill health.

Mrinal was last seen on TV show Amloki where he essayed the role of a Nabakumar. Even the Tollywood industry was shocked by the news as they paid their condolence for the loss of such a talented actor. We at CineBlitz also offer our condolences. Stay tuned!
