Vidya Balan opens up about Sridevi’s biopic

Vidya Balan was last seen in the film NTR Kathanayakudu which was a Telugu film and she will also be doing another South film. Though the Tamil film is still untitled, it will be the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s Pink. As the actress is busy shooting for that, she recently gave an interview where she spoke about being open to playing Sridevi, in the late actress’s biopic and doesn’t it sound interesting?

When asked if she would play the role of the Mom actress if her biography were to be made, Vidya said: “It would require a lot of guts, but as a tribute to Sridevi, I would do it. For that matter, every actress would love to play Sridevi’s biopic and it is difficult to know which actress can do the justice to it.”  Vidya was part of this chat show with her sister Priya.

The actress also opened about her work and shared some interesting things about her husband. Her next untitled film stars Ajith Kumar and will be produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H. Vinoth. Currently, they are shooting in Hyderabad and the will released on May 1 this year.  Vidya was last seen in Tumhari Sulu and the actress has some interesting Bollywood films to her credit.
