Kartik Aaryan – Sara Ali Khan start shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s intense love story Love Aaj Kal 2 – read exclusive details

Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on the success of Luka Chuppi. The romantic comedy, which also starred Kriti Sanon, has been well-received by the audience at the box office. The critics were also impressed by his performance. But if you thought that Kartik would want to take time off to celebrate the success of the movie, then let us tell you that the actor has no such plans. In fact, Kartik is ready to plunge into his next already! We’ve learnt that the young star is already prepping for his next, which is Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2 that also stars Sara Ali Khan and Randeep Hooda.

Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan will start shooting for this sequel of the Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Love Aaj Kal very soon. The film is an intense love story and will be shot extensively in Punjab and Delhi. It won’t be anything like Kartik has done before. As an insider reveals, “Kartik is known for his light and fun romantic roles. But with Love Aaj Kal 2, he will be seen in a rather intense romantic role.” Interestingly, even his new project – the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake is a light-hearted comedy. So, naturally it will be interesting to see Kartik in the role of an intense lover.

We all know, how Imtiaz Ali has given actors like Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Shahid Kapoor some of the most iconic roles till date. Alia and Randeep in Highway, Shahid and Kareena in Jab We Met and Ranbir with Rockstar got some of their best roles.
