Hasti DoshiA teaser was released today of the upcoming film Sridevi Bungalow which stars
Priya Prakash Varrier in the lead, playing the character of Sridevi. The teaser looks
intriguing and tells the story of one of India’s most successful and beloved actresses,
Sridevi. Priya Varrier will be debuting in Bollywood with this film, and she also said at
the teaser launch, that she will be doing many more Hindi films in the near future.
Varrier went viral in 2018 for her wink, in a South film’s song video. Within no time,
social media turned her into a sensation and the entire country was following her and
copying her wink video.
Priya expressed her excitement on her upcoming Hindi debut film which even
includes Sridevi’s last moments and her death. The film is to be shot in London. Priya’s
last film in the South had her in the role of a school girl. Now suddenly, we see her in
this different avatar for her debut film- that of one of the country’s most glamorous
heroines. The trailer looks promising, and she, quite charismatic in the trailer. Though
there are mixed reviews regarding the trailer, Priya insisted that the public first watch
the film as there’s nothing in it that could create a controversy.
After coming to Mumbai, Priya met her favorite actor Ranveer Singh and would
also like to meet Deepika Padukone. She watched Vicky Kaushal’s film URI which she
enjoyed, said as much during the trailer launch. The trailer and the story of Sridevi
Bungalow look interesting, and the intrigue is also about seeing Priya Varrier’s Hindi
debut as the iconic Sridevi. And yes, as she promised, more upcoming Hindi film projects
too.
