Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday’s Student of the Year 2 has had a sub-par run at the box office. Being the sequel to a hit film like Student of the Year, everyone expected it to work wonders at the box office. Especially with a star like Tiger and newcomers Ananya and Tara, everyone thought it would be a huge hit. But it struggled to get past the Rs 60 crore mark too, which it eventually crossed on day 6. However, looks like things might be looking good as SOTY 2 has stabilised at the box office at the end of week 1. And with that, it has ended the first week on a decent note.
Raking in Rs 4.02 crore on day 7, Student of the Year 2 has Rs 57.90 crore in its kitty. With De De Pyaar De (May 16) and John Wick 3 (May 17) releasing, we expect SOTY 2‘s collectiom to take a hit. However, it will have a decent second weekend and earn Rs 65 – 70 crore in its lifetime run at the box office. What do you guys think? How much will Student of the Year 2 earn at the box office?
