Anupam Kher’s ‘The Signature’ wins two prestigious awards at Boston India International Film Festival

Anupam Kher has been proudly representing Indian cinema globally. Now, he is set to add another honour in his illustrious achievements. The global actor’s upcoming film ‘The Signature’ has recently bagged two prominent awards including Best Film Critics Choice and Best Director at the prestigious Boston India International Film Festival! The movie was screened at the opening night at the coveted film festival.

Expressing his excitement on the global recognition, Anupam Kher says, “It’s a great feeling that ‘The Signature’ has got this global recognition at the India International Film Festival of Boston. It’s a prestigious festival and I’m very happy for Gajendra Ahire for bagging The Best Director and of course the film getting Best Critics award. Also, it’s very heartening to witness the film winning awards on the global platform even before it’s release”.

Not only does Kher star in the film, but he has also co-produced the film under Anupam Kher Productions with KC Bokadia. The film is directed by Gajendra Ahire.

Kher has had an astounding four decades in Indian cinema and the last 2 years have proven his stardom yet again. He has given blockbusters like The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya and Uunchai last year and has many interesting films in the pipeline for this year as well. It started with Shiv Shastri Balboa and IB 71 earlier this year and now he has Vijay 69, The Vaccine War and Kaagaz 2 in his kitty apart from The Signature.
