Baghban actress Arzoo Govtrikar made headlines some months ago after she approached the Worli police in Mumbai following facing domestic violence from her husband. Yes, on February 19, 2019 Arzoo had registered a police complaint against husband Siddharth Sabharwal for beating her viciously after she objected to his alcohol consumption. Now the latest update is that Siddharth has been asked not to enter their Worli home until further notice.
As per reports in a tabloid, the Dadar Metropolitan Court has issued this order to Siddharth. The Magistrate RM Karade also ordered Sabharwal to not accost Arzoo over the same. The report stated that these orders came after the footage and photographs suggested that Arzoo was subjected to domestic violence.
Earlier Siddharth had denied these allegations by stating that Arzoo had asked him to slap her on the pretext of rehearsing a scene, but now the businessman has refused to comment on the latest update since the matter is subjudice. Even Arzoo, for now, is restraining from speaking on the matter citing personal issues. Aditi Govitrikar’s sister, Arzoo had married businessman Siddharth Sabharwal in 2010.
