Bharat poster: Salman Khan – Katrina Kaif’s 1990 look shows their pain!

Salman Khan’s upcoming film Bharat is set to release on Eid this year (June), and in leading up to the excitement, the makers have been sharing teasers and posters giving us all a glimpse of what is to come. In their newest poster, we see Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif step back in time while dramatically staring off into the distance, with the latter looking gorgeous in a sari and sporting long curls. Khan sports dark hair, but a salt-and-pepper beard, indicating his age to most likely be in the mid 40’s. The year mentioned alongside is 1990, as the film will probably be moving back and forth in time to best narrate the story of the main character Bharat.

Sharing the poster, Salman Khan posted a rather intriguing line that strongly hints at the emotional depth of the characters too. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and written by Varun Sharma. It is said to be the official adaptation of the Korean film Ode to my Father, and will additionally star Disha Patani, Tabu, Varun Dhawan, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover.
