Deepika Padukone replaces Kangana Ranaut?

Anurag Basu’s Imali has been in talks for a very long time now. After Kangana walked out of the film there has been no update from the maker’s side. But it seems the film finally might have a female lead and it is none other than the gorgeous Deepika Padukone. Yes, you read it right, we might get to see Deepika in Anurag Basu’s Imali. Anurag has approached Deepika and the actress is most likely to say yes.

A few weeks back we informed you how Kangana walked out of the film due to her tight schedule. Today (May 4), speculations say that Kangana’s loss might turn out to be Deepika’s gain and the Padmaavat actress might replace Kangana in Anurag’s next. It is also said that Anurag is working on the script again and is improving it for Deepika. The confirmation on the same might come in soon.

After Padmaavat, Deepika is working on Meghna Gulzar’s directorial Chhapaak next and has wrapped up the first schedule in the capital recently. The gorgeous actress will also be seen walking the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this month. On the other hand Kangana has her kitty full of films with Panga, Mental Hai Kya and Jayalalitha Biopic.
