Ekta Kapoor writes a heartwarming message on Twitter as Ek Villain completes 5 years

Ekta Kapoor produced film Ek Villian that starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh has completed five years today (June 27). And Ekta seems to be quite elated about it, as she took to social media sharing her happiness.

Directed by Mohit Suri the film was a commercial success for the banner. It entered the 100 crore club then. Taking to twitter Ekta wrote, “5 yrs ago dis was d best moment 4 us all! Villains live like heroes never can …dere is a lot comfort in being hated n feared … Thanks #mohitsuri @SidMalhotra @Riteishd@tushar1307 #prachidesai @tanuj_garg @RuchikaaKapoor and d one I love a lot @ShraddhaKapoor .” The film was also appreciated for its music, which is a hit till date. Ek Villian was a love story about an arrogant contract killer and mafia (played by Sidharth) who falls in love with a free spirited girl (Shraddha Kapoor). The two get married and the guy decides to leave his gory past behind and start a fresh by taking up a decent job. However, his wife gets killed by a psychopath (Ritiesh Deshmukh) and he returns back to his old business, only to avenge his wife.
